The true value and purpose of individual therapy is to create a protected space for self-study, awareness, and development which would ultimately improve and enhance overall functioning, and sense of well-being. With its emphasis on the intrapersonal, individual therapy can be a safe container to express and explore thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and experiences in collaboration, and with the support and guidance of a professional. Therapy can serve as a potent mirror with which we can see ourselves most clearly. Empathy, compassion, a holistic perspective, and personalized approach rooted in Mindfulness are the foundations of my practice. Group therapy can build on the work established by individual therapy and shifts the focus from the intrapersonal to the interpersonal. Whereas individual therapy is premised on relationship to self, group therapy is founded on learning with, and from others using the power of group dynamics. Please check back periodically as I may be offering an Open Process Group based on Mindfulness principles. I am looking to start one so if you are interested, please let me know. I am looking for a minimum of at least five group members.
Depression, Anxiety, & Trauma
A significant number of my clients have struggled with Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma. In addressing these conditions, I will help you examine how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact your experiences and together, we will develop a plan to implement changes you feel ready to make. With regards to Trauma specifically, we will work together on creating and maintaining a sense of safety, trust, and developing grounding and coping techniques to help you contain and confront the pain. I will guide and further empower you through Mindfulness practices to connect to "the Now," so you will feel better able to handle and be with, whatever arises. Employing a compassionate approach, I will help you with acknowledgement and acceptance. With motivational interviewing strategies we can work with any resistance to change and using Strength based approach we will recognize your resiliency and resources.
Stress & Self-development
While I have experience working with individuals who have had a variety of different mental health conditions ranging in severity, I can also help you if your aims are self-improvement, growth, or finding meaning and purpose. If you are dealing with life stress and change, I will work with you to manage your emotions and responses in a healthier, more balanced manner.

Kindly provide the required notice for cancellations as no shows may incur a full session fee unless due to emergency or exigent circumstances.
Prior to your appointment, I will be sending you via email a link to a secure client portal where you will complete initial paperwork, release forms, and treatment agreement.
Fees & Payment
50 minute session (in person/televideo): $150.00
50 minute group session: $40.00 per member
Payment can be made before, or at your appointment date. On a limited basis, I do offer sliding fee scale. Late fees may be charged for payments overdue by a certain time frame. I currently only accept Cigna insurance and am an in-network provider with them. If you are out-of-network or have another insurance, I can provide you with an invoice which you can then submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. However, please check with your insurance carrier first to see if you they participate in out-of-network reimbursement. I accept cash, check (made out to "Coalesce Counseling LLC"), all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). Any additional concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out as I would be willing to work with you to get the help you need.
